Workshops & Services

Workshops & Services

Our program is accessible and uncomplicated.

Two classes and one mock interview is all we require to enable more personalized appointments for resume writing, mentoring, and more. We currently provide online programming and services that ensure our clients, volunteers and staff are protected while preparing our clients for virtual interviews, and the employment that follows.
PREREQUISITES

Employment Skills

Our foundational workshop covers the skills needed to search for and secure employment. During this interactive, two-hour class, clients learn how to make themselves stand out by learning tips on the application process, identifying their skills/strengths, developing their elevator pitch, and gaining confidence in answering/asking interview questions. Clients leave feeling empowered and more confident in their interviewing process.

Personal Finance

Often conducted in partnership with local banking professionals, this workshop teaches crucial financial literacy skills such as managing paychecks, opening bank accounts, budgeting, and establishing and maintaining good credit.

Mock Interviews

One-on-one interviews with local business professionals which allow youth to hone presentation skills, calm nerves, and grow from immediate professional feedback.
